On the 10th anniversary of this Kitayuzawa Onsen resort hotel, the aim was to renovate the sauna in the large bath and make it a new reason to stay.

開業10周年を迎えた北湯沢温泉のリゾートホテルで大浴場のサウナをリニューアルし、宿泊の新たな魅力とすることを目的とした。

Produced by TTNE's Totonoe Oyakata, the renovation created men's and women's sauna rooms with different concepts, plus a meditation room that stimulates the five senses and leads guests into a deep "totonoi." The baths switch between men and women overnight, so guests can enjoy both saunas in a single stay.

TTNE・ととのえ親方のプロデュースにより、コンセプトの異なる男女のサウナ室と、五感を刺激して深い「ととのい」へ導くメディテーションルームをつくった。男女が夜間に入れ替わり、1泊で両方のサウナを楽しめる。

Löyly equipment was newly added to distinctive dry saunas. The meditation room "Zen," used for cooling down, is kept at about 15°C and has four partitioned booths, where guests lie on their backs and meditate while feeling drops of water fall on their foreheads.

個性的なドライサウナに、新たにロウリュ設備を加えた。クールダウン用のメディテーションルーム「禅」は約15℃に保たれ、仕切られた4つのブースがある。仰向けに横たわり、額に落ちる水滴を感じながら瞑想できる。
