Located on the 5th floor of the Nekoyacho Building in Naka-ku, Hiroshima City, "Hiki stargazing sauna" was created through a collaboration between the architectural firm SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE and TTNE. It was designed with the goal of becoming a premier urban retreat.

広島市中区・猫屋町ビルヂングの5階に誕生した「Hiki stargazing sauna」は、建築設計事務所 SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE と TTNE のタッグによって生まれて、都市型リトリートを目指した。

Designed by Makoto Tanijiri, this project reimagines a former post office and bank building that is over 50 years old.

The vision was to create a "all-in-one" lifestyle hub where one can "work, eat, and reset" within a single building. The concept allows you to enjoy craft beer on the first floor, work in the office, and ultimately reset in the fifth-floor sauna. It strongly reflects Tanijiri’s personal philosophy of "creating the place we truly want for ourselves."

デザインは谷尻誠さんが担当。 元々は築50年以上の郵便局・銀行ビル。
「働く・食べる・整う」を一つのビルで完結させることを目指した。
1階でクラフトビールを飲み、オフィスで働き、5階のサウナでリセットする。「自分たちが欲しい場所を作る」というテーマが色濃く出ている。

The standout feature is the open-air relaxation area, where a retractable ceiling unveils the sky. The liberation of gazing upward while completely exposed in the heart of the city perfectly embodies Tanijiri’s signature architectural style: "blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces."
By combining the expertise of architectural pros creating the "space" with sauna pros crafting the "experience," this powerhouse collaboration has completely shattered the stereotype that "stylish saunas lack substance."

最大の特徴は、天井が開閉して空が見える「外気浴」スペース。
都会のど真ん中のビル内で、全裸で空を仰ぐという開放感は、谷尻さんが得意とする「外部空間と内部空間の境界を曖昧にする」建築手法そのもの。
建築のプロが「空間」を作り、サウナのプロが「体験」を作り上げるという、最強のタッグによって、「おしゃれなサウナは満足度が低い」という懸念を完璧に払拭した。
