The newly produced "Bedroom Sauna" is a sauna where you can turn over. It is the third sauna in the facility, following the Finnish and mist saunas.
We were approached for this branding project to make use of what was originally idle space.

新たにプロデュースした寝返りのうてる「ベッドルームサウナ」。”土手”を模した斜面に建設されたグリーンタワーに配置され、フィンランド式サウナ、ミストサウナに続く、施設内3つめのサウナとなる。
元々遊休スペースだったところを活用すべく、今回のブランディングのお話をいただいた。

A stroll along the brick paths on the grounds leads to a hut on the hillside, where you can enjoy the "Bedroom Sauna" where you can turn over in a setting that resembles a hotel room. A sauna platform the size of a double bed sits in the center of the room, allowing you to lie down comfortably and even turn over. This is a sauna that allows you to "get in tune" with your body and mind without the stresses of crowding and narrow seating surfaces that can prevent saunters from "getting in tune" in conventional sauna rooms. As a result, the sauna provides value that exceeds that of existing saunas.

敷地内の煉瓦造りの道を散策しながら、丘の中腹の小屋にたどり着き、まるでホテルの客室のようなしつらえの中で、寝返りのうてる「ベッドルームサウナ」が楽しめる。ダブルベッドサイズのサウナ台が部屋の中央に鎮座し、ゆったりと身を横たえ、さらには寝返りがうてるサイズ感。一般的なサウナ室の混雑や、座面の狭さという、“ととのい”を妨げるサウナーへのストレスといったものもなく、心身ともに、伸び伸びと”ととのう”ことが可能になり、結果として、既存のサウナを超えうる価値提供が実現した。

Since every guest room at Shiraiya Hotel has its own design concept, we considered the sauna hut itself as one of the guest rooms (Room 37) when planning this project. The key point of the "Bedroom Sauna" is the reversal of the idea of turning a sauna into a guest room, rather than attaching a sauna to a guest room.

In the "Bedroom Sauna" space, a dresser and bedside lamps were also created. When aroma water is poured into a vase placed by the bedside, aroma steam is emitted from a sauna stove stored behind the headboard, transforming the space into one that stimulates all five senses.

白井屋ホテルは全ての客室にデザインコンセプトがあるので、サウナ小屋自体も客室の一つ（37号室）として捉え、プランニングに臨んだ。客室にサウナをつけるのではなく、サウナを客室にしてしまうという逆転の発想が、今回の「ベッドルームサウナ」のポイントになっている。

「ベッドルームサウナ」空間では、”ドレッサー”や”ベッドサイドランプ”なども造作で再現。ベッドサイドに置かれた花瓶にアロマ水を注ぐと、ヘッドボード裏に格納されたサウナストーブからアロマ蒸気が噴出され、五感を刺激する空間に変化する。
